Visiting Production 会社訪問
Toneplus Animation Studiosは、朝９時のスタッフ・デイリー試写から仕事が始まります。Linux環境で、RenderMan, Maya, Houdini などを使った制作環境は、ハリウッドと変わりません。スタッフも日本人よりも外人さんが多い会社です。北新宿にある知る人ぞ知るキャラクター・アニメーションとCG技術には定評がある会社で、海外の仕事もこなしています。日本にありながら外国の会社であるToneplus Animation Studiosはいったいどのような会社なのかBernard社長にインタビューしました。

- A foreign studio in Tokyo. Toneplus animation studios specializes in Film/Commercial/Game computer animation titles focused on worldwide distribution. We have an internationally experienced creative and technical team. Our goal, to deliberately not do things the local way so: 1. Japanese companies can access foreign talented animators/R&D team. 2. Foreign access to Japanese CG using reliable management. Our studio is set up like a small modern LA facility. Pipeline based, from the modelers to ther render farm all using Linux. We welcome Japanese that want to train in a multilingual environment before going off to a foreign studio.
