Suguru Daimon, Masaru's father, has identified himself as "Ygdrasil", the god of Digimons, and has ordered the Royal Knights to destroy the Human World. Even though he is the father of Masaru, he treats him as if he does not know him, when Masaru opposes to his decision, and even tries to attack on the Squad. But, they are saved by one of the Royal Knights, Slapemon (Mega)! Captain Satsuma, who was said to be missing, also appears and reveals that Slapmeon is actually the evolved form of his Digimon partner, Kudamon.
