Thoma H. Norshtein returns back to the Japanese branch of DATS. He is the same age as Masaru, but has already graduated the Stockholm Royal University of Science with honors at age 13. Masaru, thinking Thoma is just a newcomer at DATS, is in shock after learning that Thoma has already experienced worked at DATS, and that he was in charge of regulating Digimons, and involved in the invention of the Transmitter.
